Franklin can alter reality itself. If he can create a mini-cosmos he can bring back Johnny.

He's not going to, of course, because that would be a really cheap way of bringing him back (not to mention that it brings up a whole lot of questions that all go, "Why doesn't Franklin bring back ______, or "why doesn't Franklin retconn ______") but you're right, by rights he should be able to.

Hopefully, they'll be a good explanation on why he doesn't just do that.

It would be awesome if Peter turns out like Felix Faust, where he's sold his soul so many times that it's worthless and no devil wants it anymore.

Actually? I don't blame Spider-Man for that, I blame Quesada.

There's times when you get mad at the characters for the decisions they make, and then there's times when you get mad at the writers and/ or editors for making their characters say and do things that completely goes against who they are. And for me, OMD is firmly in the latter.

So, as far as I am concerned, Peter Parker didn't sell his marriage to Satan, or his unborn child; Quesada did, to fulfill his own agenda.

Yeah, that's a nice Peter Parker moment, though one has to wonder why Franklin admitting that he's thinking bad thoughts doesn't have most of humanity wetting itself in collective terror.

First thing I thought, did he tell his parents before taking Franklin? I imagine Sue and Reed would go batshit if they see their kid is not where they left him. Eh, they probably have security cameras I guess because it would be really dumb of them to leave Franklin alone and unsupervised.

Oh and I liked Spidey's "I really liked him" comment (even though we all know he more than "really liked him" he loved him like a bro.) and I really like this version of non-jerkwad Spidey.

I hope, since the Spider-Man I'm reading in New Avengers actually seems pretty much in character, that he and Ben will have a conversation or two about Johnny's death there.
