I'm working now on a Dark Empire post. Dark Empire II doesn't interest me as much, but I just had to share that.

Having faithfully looked up Narm, I can definitely declare this isn't the 'morbidly cool or extreme' definition. You'd think making Darth Luke would have been a no-brainer..

I guess it's possible that some people use narm to mean "morbidly cool or extreme." But this being Urban Dictionary, I'd have to say it's more likely that the guy who posted that was just a dumbass.

The Expanded Universe has, overall, much less Narm than the movies, even considering ... But it's still Star Wars.

Yeah... I like some aspects of Dark Empire, but it feels like so much wasted potential to me.

Man, the Dark Empire series is like the giant elephant in the Expanded Universe that left a trail of destruction in its wake that no one wants to talk about. Luke's totally the forever hero of the galaxy! Except for, you know, that time he went evil and went over to the Emperor's side and lots of Mon Calamari got killed. Kind of makes Kyp Durron look good by comparison, doesn't it?
