This is actually the second issue of the series, as a #0 came out last month. Interestingly, this issue's written by Art Baltazar and Franco, the team on TINY TITANS and BILLY BATSON. I guess they're DC's go-to guys for all-ages stuff these days?

Superboy's alone in Mount Justice, on his first day living there, when he hears the footsteps of another.

From off-panel, someone fires poisoned darts at the two of them, and Snapper goes down.

The show has been hit and miss for me, alternating between awesome (eps 1, 3, 5) and suck (eps. 2 and 4).

The overall concept and core cast of characters is intriguing, especially since it feels a bit like Young Justice Elite, but I quickly got sick with how they kept recycling the same motif where the team can't get along with each other, which jeopardizes their mission, but then they eventually pull together and act like they've learned the value of teamwork, only to forget it next episode.

Last weeks episode, Infiltrator felt like a step in the right direction though. And since we have a full house now, I'm hoping there will be less in-fighting and more focus on adventuring and relationship developments.

On another note, I was pretty surprised that Artemis is Green Arrow's protege. Considering her name, I was expecting her to be a younger version of the Amazonian Artemis when she was announced way back in production. Does this mean she's really Mia then?

actually i am pretty sure she is a traitor.

i beleive they said she is not speedy (mia) or Arrowette, and not a female fury. BUT she is an existing Character with links to a realy DC character... (people are guessing Artemis Crock http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tigress_(DC_Comics)#Artemis_Crock

I think that it might be Superboy, with some kind of subconcious brainwashing or something.

i think they openly stated from the beginig that it was her...icould be totally wrong, but i am almost positive.

That said, no one said it could not be both (Luthorized Kon was played in our verse....)

I thought that too, but considering how all too obvious it was, I figured maybe it's a case of misdirection. And considering that Sensei called the Light Master, I can't help but think that certain DC villains make up this group, two on my list being Lex Luthor (obviously to tie to Superboy) and Ra's al Ghul.

On Imdb Jason Issacs has a v.o. credit for playing Ra's in that episode. Don't know if it's accurate or not though.

That's what I was thinking to, that Artemis is a red herring and that Superboy actually still has some residual Cadmus programming left inside him.
