Date: 2011-02-25 04:59 am (UTC)What I usually do, is reboot my computer, and when it goes to desktop, I immediately hit ctrl-alt-del, open my Task Manager, find the 'anti-virus' program, locate it's file, turn it off, and then delete the whole thing.
Only serious hitch, is it fucks up my proxy-settings which, the only way I can fix that, is by resetting my computer to a previous save state.
Beyond that, it's worked for me.
