Date: 2011-02-25 05:07 pm (UTC)In my mind it is because Franklin needs to be in the reality he is effecting and not just seeing it as was the case. Sort of like how the Infinity gems only work in their respective realities.
But yes it is nice to see the real Spidey after all this time. Sort of like how it was nice to see the real Cap in the Spider-Man comics during Civil War.
