Nemesis, run it. - Generation Hope 04
Feb. 27th, 2011 07:14 pmTime to finally explain what the heck is going on with each of the Lights' powers! Doctor Nemesis, take it away...

Interesting point of nerd speculation here: Would this mean that Gabriel doesn't get all the secondary mutations that someone like Quicksilver would? Increased reflexes and perception, lung-strength, eye-fluid viscosity, skeletal resilience, etc...

...y'know, I don't think I'll be mentioning that to him.

Date: 2011-02-28 10:15 am (UTC)The guys from the Marvel Appendix website did their best to reconcile the original version of the character and Thomas' version. They theorized (based on the original publication timeline) that Dr Nemesis reformed after his Invaders appearance and returned to fighting crime with his supporting cast none the wiser.
I imagine Matt Fraction used this entry as a starting point when he decided to revive Dr. Nemesis on the pages of Uncanny X-Men. His version didn't quite jell with any version done up to this point, but hey, the results were amusing and, hey, you can't argue with results.
