scans_dailyBecause Brightest Day #21 was published today, I'm assuming that it's fair game to post seven pages from the last issue.
The issue begins with the Aquafamily fighting monsters lead by Siren, Mera's sister, and Black Manta on the beach. Aqualad has cauterized Aquaman's wound with his lightning powers and thus the main problem becomes how to move the fight into the ocean and away from the beach.
They have a long and dramatic fight, with Mera facing off against her sister, who calls her an outcast and other mean things. Eventually the good guys win, which means it's talking time!
