Date: 2011-03-13 08:04 pm (UTC)Firstly, there is no New Genesis any more - one of the few things Death of the New Gods and Final Crisis agree on is that the resurrected New Gods were reborn on a single, combined world.
Second, look at Saturn Queen's description of the third world:
It's the 'Citadel of the Wise' - while certain Gods of New Genesis - Highfather, Metron - are wise as a defining point, they're balanced by people like Orion, who is anything but, or Lightray or just about everyone else, who, while not as 'raaargh' as Orion, aren't known for their wisdom.
The Immortals of this world empower mortals - Not something the New Gods do, as a general rule. It's happened a handful of times, but not enough to be one of the world's defining points. Granted the Lords of Order and Chaos don't seem to give their agents eternal life, so that's a strike against them, too, however, they do regularly empower mortals. On which note...
There's the 'great balance', which SQ is planning to destroy - the New Gods care not for balance. Peace, yes. But there's no indication that they'd allow Darkseid to maintain his influence on the multiverse if they could remove it. (And Darkseid would - and has - totally unbalance the multiverse when the possibility was there.) The Lords of Order and Chaos, on the other hand, while occasionally trying to tip the scales in one direction or the other, also have agents like Hawk and Dove, who are meant to protect the balance.
Finally...if, as you imply, the voice Saturn Queen is following is Darkseid, going after Oa last and the Rock of Eternity first doesn't make much sense - New Genesis would be his first or last target, since either he'd want it gone fast, or it would be pivotal as Oa is - or he'd want to weaken the NGNG by removing potential allies before going after them, or he'd want to savour his victory over them. Making her go after Oa last, but then not telling her which of the other two worlds to go after first, if Darkseid is behind it, doesn't make sense for New Genesis as the unidentified world.
(Of course with the recent retcons of it, I have no idea if the Sorcerer's World is still connected to the Lords or not... It's still the strongest option of the currently known worlds.)
