Anti-gravity furball! Laughed so hard that I knocked the cat off my lap.

Careful, evolution will make you pay for that in a few million years... or possible sooner than that

Yup, I do cat rescue, and thumb!cats are becoming much more common. My mom's cat (a vicious rescued moggie named Baby) is a thumb!cat, as is one of the three cats in my small feral colony (named Brucie because he likes to cast his silhouette in the shadows from the garden shed like Batman -- for the record, the other two are Owlcat and Fluffernutter). Baby was pregnant when she was left in a box at the small rural church which my mom serves, and she (the cat) had four kittens, all of whom were thumb!cats. All of mom's offspring had thumbs also; in my own case, the phrase "all thumbs" probably applies. The parsonage cats -- the sexton actually lives there, while mom has an apartment in senior housing -- are all thumb!cats except for one.

Time is running out for the human race....
