Am I allowed to feel special up here?

 Because I just got a letter back from a writer, as opposed to the editor, of a comic book I've been following religiously up to now. 



I'm gonna hang that on my wall. The first letter I've ever written to a comic book. It's like I'm eight again. 


And because I'd like to mesmerize you, one scan that is spoilery as to Osborn's fate, and one scan that isn't really important at all. 









4 out of 5 issues. The last is to come and it will be grand.

...I really should be reading this, should ? I mean I was waiting for the miniseries to be finished, because I like my stories in big chunk, but now I feel like I'm missing out.

Well it's almost finished anyway. If you want to wait til it ends to read it, no one's stopping you. The wait makes the build up better though, but maybe that's just me.

My husband thinks I'm silly for being so happy to see letter columns back in comics (and for looking through old letter columns), but I've seen letters from several people I know personally, and especially in the older ones, I find letters from future comics creators. It's fun.

I'm glad you got your letter published and answered. That's awesome!

I read this in the back of my copy of the book and thought to myself, "This was written by that girl from the Philippines I see on Scans Daily." I have no idea why I made such a casual connection, but there wasn't any uncertainty about it.

So now we can all say that we know someone on the Internet who had a letter published! Squee! That's wonderful. And inspires me to really read the letter pages. (I often pick up several weeks' worth of comics and gulp them down like a snake, and in my hurry to get to next episode, I skip the letters.)
