I think her poncho is constructed from her powers, so wouldn't interfere like normal fabric would.

It's made of light. I don't think aerodynamics are an issue here.

As noted, as dar as we know it's not made of fabric, it's made of energy, it'll act however she thinks it should.

That's the thing. If she's worn one before she'll know they're not very bendy.

I actually own half a dozen ponchos, and they only work if you keep your torso upright like she's doing in the picture. Bend around and -- no. They're great for formal wear, as the fit is very forgiving so if you wear it once every few years you don't have to worry if it still fits or not. But I wouldn't wear one to do yoga, let alone anything more strenuous like fighting bad guys.

But that's just it, it's not a poncho made of any fabric the likes of you or I would ever have worn, or even fabric at all. As far as we known it's a diaphanous layer of energy given form by her powers and the normal ways that fabric move are not a guide as to how this will work. If she raises her arms and doesn't want to block her vision, I imagine the poncho will magically extend in such a way that it does the former, and not the latter.
