I spoke with the J man, and he said that's exactly his plot: he got a job at DC Editorial, and wants to drive all fans INSANE! MAD!

Or make them go to Marvel and shut up shop.

I thought of an even worse joke: remember the story about Krusty the Klown being inspired by an obscure performer named 'Rusty Nails'? Maybe it's a 'tip of the hat' to him. Actually, more like dropping a jackhammer-shaped hat on him.
