Remember this fun cancelled series?



Yeah, I think we all do. :(

Well, Chris Samnee has been announced as the penciller on the WWII adventures of Steve and Bucky in the appropriately titled "Captain America and Bucky" (Shades of another Dynamic Duo's recent new title one wonders?). Up on his DeviantArt account he's posted a Bucky pic he did a while back, to celebrate.



And from The London Evening Standard we have the first pictures of the cast of the new Arena show "Batman live", which launches in London in August then goes on a world tour.

Great news if you're pining for Chris Samnee's "Thor the Mighty Avenger"

With a title like that I thought you meant they were going to continue the comic! Now I cryyyy! And even more since the Dr Mcninja writer and GuriHiru are only getting a one-shot issue for their Cap comic.

Still I'm happy that Chris is getting work and even more that he's working on Cap!

Actually, if you consider that we never find the origin of "shway" as a term, if we use the same sound transposition that produced shwarbage, it means that Terry just called the show "gay", and in BB's future it's an actual high compliment.

Me being none of those things (though that's a matter of me being outclassed in geekiness here), I have no idea what you're referring to, but I am intrigued. My life can only be richer with the addition of some form of entertainment in which the line "It's Shwarbage" is used.

Robin's suit is weird. It's like someone made an armor piece to look like cloth instead of armor. It fails at being both at certain angles. I also prefer my Batman/Robin designs to be less armory overall.

Were the Riddler and Ivy not available for the one group shot? They look like they've been photoshopped in.
