Found a link to this on another site, and think it's rather fun...

I have to give props to whoever made this, a LOT of work has gone into it! (And I am slightly pleased that the hero in my icon gets an entry, plus that whoever did this was geeky enough to remember Starfires similar power, to absorb languages through physical contact (usually kissing). (and I still want to see a scene in the X-Titans universe where Cyborg puts a call through "Kory? You have a visitor, friend of Kitty Pryde's, kid named Ramsey. He said something about offering you some language lessons, I've never seen a kid so KEEN to educate!" )
Also love that Robin is there under the "Performing arts" sub-category.
It sort of reminds me of the old "Mutant X" TV series (OhJesse Kilmartin Forbes March, you may not have got as flashy a role as Brennan Mulwray Victor Webester did, but you were so damned CUTE!... ahem, I digress) where EVERY power was classified as one of four groups
Feral - Animal-like powers
Psionic - Any and all telepathic, empathic or telekinetic powers
Elemental - Manipulates energy or a particular form of matter - Electricity, heat, cold, light etc.
Molecular - Ability to alter ones own being (or matter in proximity) - Intangibility, shapeshifting, invulnerability etc
And basically described any power that was required as one of those. It's surprising how earely needed to use the "It's a hybrid of two" to explain away other abilities.
And from a sort-of comprehensive list, how about a completely generic legality scan, as from 1984 comes a one-shot which probably counts as one of the first truly meta-comics out there!

Date: 2011-04-16 07:51 pm (UTC)Possession: Karma and Jericho
Pheromone manipulation: Wallflower, Persuasion, Stacy-X, Daken
Empathy: Empath
Psionic Image Materialization: Tarot (former Hellion), Leon Nunez (mutant tattoo artist to Ink)
Dust and Rockslide should be in the same group as Sandman (although I'd rename their group Mineral or something).
Magma, Rictor and Avalanche should get a Geological group (unless they go under Force Control)
Magik and Lila Cheney should also be in the Teleporter group.
I think about this stuff way too much.

Date: 2011-04-17 08:25 am (UTC)I was somewhat surprised not to see Wolverine under 'Super Healing' and should he not also have 'Super Cameo Role' somewhere on his C.V. like Batman did for a while?
Good to see my fav Beast get a category to himself though!
