Presumably because he's the "brooding bad boy loner" of the Batfamily which (is/is supposed to be) seen as sexy. Bruce is just scary, Dick is awesome, but too thoroughly decent and basically a genuinely nice guy, and Tim is cute, but too serious and Damian is... well.... Damian.

Jason is the... God forgive me because

whitesycamore never will, but he's the Edward Cullen of the bunch (based on the portions of movie trailers I've been able to stomach). He angsts, he's moody, he broods, he's violent towards people who are arguably more unpleasant than he is, and so on...

Well, the context of those particular pieces is the family thing. They want their big brother back in the family. That's become a popular one, the idea being that they understand what it's like to be on the outs with the family (and subjected to bad writing)
