It's not just eggs that get turned bright colours at Easter time! Tiny Titans 39
Apr. 24th, 2011 12:10 pmFirstly, a happy Easter to those of the Christian persuasion! (To those of the non-Christian persuasion, or no persuasion at all... a happy Sunday in any event!)
In the earlier posts, we've seen an unhappy incident cause chromatic chaos in our kiddie cohort. (Somewhere, Stan Lee just broke into a smile, though he may not know why)
After all, he does have a fall back identity to use.

Well, if we can have the Rainbow Batman, we can have the Rainbow Nightwing (Brightwing?) and Rainbow Bathound too.
And for no reason at all, from the pre-credits sequence of the latest "Batman: Brave and the Bold"

Taken from the Golden Age classic The Jungle Batman, this adds in Catwoman as a villain (Bat and Cat's combat-level flirting is, as always lovely) and maximises the lack of outfitting for our heroes... notably the junior half of the team. (And he does seem to be on the young side here, and living up to his traditional look at the time of a sort of barrel-chested midget body-builder, but still he manages to make it work)

Catwoman unleashes her panther, Hecate, on Robin, whislt she indulges in a little whip-play with Batman

But an unexpected ally appears to save the day!

Yup, the Bat-Ape is back, he save Robin from Hecate and gives Batman a chance to free himself. Catwoman escapes, but notes sadly that... "The most dangerous game... is love!" (I adore that sort of overblown dialogue in these things)
Now pose for the final frame lads... That's it.

The main story a JLI story featuring Etrigan the Demon, a cameo by Dala the vampiress, and the JLI, is also good fun, but hey, JLI ain't what I'm known for!
