Comicbookresources has the whole 5 page preview up on the site. ogrebear just posted the cover so I was highly amused when I saw the contents of this issue which is the Academy's "School Dance"


 

I'm admittedly lost on the "Tigra" is the costume idea. I guess the writer wants to play up that she essentially abandoned her old life when she became Tigra?



God I laughed my ass off at this page. 

And yes, this issue looks like it's going to be a hilariously awesome one. With some of the other party goers including Arana and her Amazing friends and even Butterball!

Either she can't change to human any more, in which case she is Tigra, or her cat form simply is her choice.

People think Tigra, they think of the tiger-striped skin, but unlike most heroes that's not a costume, that's really her.

Yeah, but if she's saying Tigra is her real self... saying it's/she's a costume seems odd.

I think it might be a bit of creator thinking slipping into the text...like when Stan Lee said the Hulk's skin color is basically his costume. (Although, recently, it looks like the Hulk's costume is a tuxedo made of unstable molecules, but that's another story.)

Not sure I see it like that. Hank asks her why she's not wearing her costume, she points out the striped fur IS her costume, a lot more than any clothes ever are.

That's pretty spot-on, I think. A costume is what one recognises a superhero by. If someone goes out wearing Tigra's usual outfit, the raction is not 'Hey! It's Tigra!' it's 'Hey! It's someone wearing some sort of leather bikini!" On the other hand, if Tigra goes out wearing anything short of a Spidey style full body covering while in cat-person form, she's recognisable as Tigra.
