Volstagg: Warrior, God, Father of Hildy

Four pages from Thor: Whosoever Wields This Hammer. Most of the book is the reprinting of several old Thor stories with new colors, but it also gives us the framing device of Volstagg being put in charge of his unruly offspring under the threat of no nookie.

And it has Hildy, who as you all know, I adore.

But of course - bad enough that she has such a majestic presence as her father, but you run the risk of dating a girl named after a girl who sounded the death-knell for an entire kingdom in the narrative of an opera which further sounded the death-knell for the entire citadel of Asgard.
