...Actually, she probably knows that even a human woman strong enough to handle the power of Volstagg wouldn't possess the invulnerability of an immortal, so she's probably pretty patient and confident.

While I posted the Thor in drag story from Marvel Super-Heroes #15, there was also another story where he recounts to his kids the time he save Asgard from Frost Giants and kept an eye on Thor, in said story flirts with enchantress and she pretty much falls for him.

Then when his kids doubt him, Enchantress appears out of nowhere kisses him and leaves. Then when Volstagg ponders what his life would have been had he marries Enchantress Gudrun comes downstairs and is pretty much all "WTF you're kissing shameless hussies in our front porch? Come upstairs right this instance" and Volstagg just sighs "women a plague on all their houses" and wonders if he should call Thor and just to go on another adventure.

But really I like to think Gudrun sexed Volstagg up and reminded him why he married her and why she's better than Enchantress.

And I saw the Jessica and Clint thing coming a mile away once she started complaining to him that she didn't have a boyfriend but Marvel Boy had a girlfriend. Not opposed to this relationship but I'm kind of baffled as to how Bobbi and Clint just suddenly weren't together anymore all of a sudden (unless I missed something by not reading Hawkeye/Mockingbird) and I just want Jess and Clint to not end badly (because Jessica has gone through a lot of shit relationships and like Carol said she broods and goes to her "dark spot" really easily).

Also Carol/Thor, never thought about them that way or even got the slightest hint that she liked him that way. Also has Thor even dated anyone in the Avengers? Or anyone that wasn't Sif, Amora, or Jane Foster for that matter?

Before the skrull switch, Bobbi filed for divorce with Clint. She wasn't happy with their marriage. They seem to be trying to work through it, and theyre doing a good job, but I consider it perpetually on the rocks.

And Volstagg is actually regarded as a fairly old guy by Asgardian standards. Past his prime. He's also a redhead with a beard and an awesome warrior.

So... what if Volstagg is a previous go rounds' version of Thor who survived as some gods occasionally do.

Seriously, I'm in the same boat. I had absolutely zero interest in Thor comics before, and then people started posting the Straczynski run and I was like, "Hmm, this looks pretty good, actually". I was sold on it and had my "must buy this comic" moment when the first meeting between Bill and Kelda was posted. And now the rest is history and I'm picking up quite a few Thor comics each month. And my wallet weeps. :p

I know a lot of people give Bendis crap, but I really enjoy it when he writes scenes where heroes are just hanging out and palling around with each other. I love how Carol and Jessica's "signal" is apparently the "Live Long and Prosper" salute. Also love Spidey and his turkey leg. Hawkeye's, "You don't have to do that to make people like you" line made me go, "Awww".

I really enjoy Bachalo's art as well. I just love how he does faces and expressions. Like in the panel where she used her pheromones, Jessica has that perfect, "Oh crap, I didn't mean to do that" look on her face.

Also, I had never noticed until now how Spider-Woman and Elissa from Empowered basically have the exact same mask. Hmm.

2. Isn't part of the reason for hiring Squirrel Girl as a babysit so that Jes doesn't have to bring her baby along to weird and possibly unsafe/party locations anymore?

3. Okay, Bobbi and Clint were together just five seconds ago. I know she got shot, but I'm pretty sure she survived that. Are we ever going to find out what happened to them as a couple?

4. I want to enjoy Clint and Jessica as a couple, but the scene in Hawkeye and Mockingbird where he said he had difficulty trusting her because he kept seeing the Skrull Queen when he looked at her keeps flashing into my head. Yet another reason to stick to Carol/Jessica, I suppose.

I know it totally fails the Bechdel Test, but that WAS a really cute bit with Carol and Jess there (mainly because it IS so rare to see those two characters, or at least Jessica, letting their guard down like that). Hawkeye and Jess, though? Nah...cute bit, though.
