Somewhere along the line, Marvel got confused about Shanna The She Devil and Sheena The Jungle Queen (who Shanna was a VERY thinly-veiled tribute/rip-off of). Adding to the confusion is that Marvel published the comic based on the Tanya Roberts Sheena movie.

And Frank Cho's Shanna was meant to be a distinct character, but lazy editing of the Marvel Encyclopedia and the use of Frank Cho's artwork EVERYWHERE has led toward the image of his his faux Shanna being used everywhere.
