New Batman: Arkham City Trailer

 So a while back, Rocksteady confirmed that their newest Batman game, Arkham City, wouldn't have any multiplayer aspects to the game. But, as this new trailer shows, that doesn't mean that we won't play as another character during the course of the game...

What do you think about Two-Face here? I'm not too crazy about half of his clothes being burned onto his skin.

I think he looks awfully silly. The facial scarring is okay, but full body scarring? That's just kind of ridiculous, like a hyper-realistic take on the TAS version. It looks so fresh that he would have to be in horrible agony the whole time. What's more, the suit looks fused to him from the burning. Did he just never take off his clothes again? Ew, stinky Two-Face. Even his good side doesn't look particularly handsome or have any character to speak of. Very blah.

As for the writing, I fear that we're just going to see Two-Face in a typical "Hey kids, let's put on a show mock trial!" mode. Like we've seen fifteen times already. Yawn. How sad is it that the Batman: The Brave and the Bold video game understands Two-Face better than I'm betting Arkham City will?

It doesn't look like full-body scarring to me--I just thought his suit on that side is purposefully charred.

It is full-body scarring. Or as least, scarring along the body that we see, with his exposed, burned arm.

It actually looks like the game is going to have a lot of stuff right from No Man's Land. So, maybe the trial scene might fit? I'm trying to be optimistic here.
