The Dark Knight Rises Goes Viral!

Yup. Should have seen it coming, with around a year until the next part of Nolan's Batman trilogy on the way, we have now seen the unveilling of... VIRAL VIDEOS!

They seem to be about an outbreak at Arkham and fires spreading across the city whilst some people appear to be chanting Bane's name.

I've heard conflicting reports that this is fake and that it's not. Either way, this stuff is always fun to follow.

Same. Apparently the numbered videos relate to police codes, like one's abuse/neglect, which would work for Bane I guess.

Also they have Mike Engel, who I think was one of the journalists kidnapped by the Joker in the last movie... but one of the ambulances in the clips is apparently marked "Chicago" which has caused some to call them out as fakes.

Yeah. If I remember correctly, wasn't The Dark Knight filmed in Chicago? Would make sense if they hadn't made custom vehicles just for a teaser. Have they even started filming yet?

Around the time these videos started they were filming in India, as I recall. I think they might be moving to Pittsburgh for this one, though--less expensive to shoot, that kinda thing.

I doubt Nolan would've put these together himself, and if they don't need Bale or any of the others for them, it would be simple enough to put together a shooting team with specific instructions.

They do seem rather professional for a fan-made job, but then.. So does Marble Hornets, so.. Yeah.

The clip of a naked muscly guy in prison that people are saying is a glimpse of Bane is actually a scene from BRONSON, so yeah, fake.
