Ugh, AGAIN? Two comics companies get the Monkey King wrong in one week?

Hanuman was the GENERAL of the Monkey forces under King Sugreeva, and also under Prince Rama. Sun Wukong the Monkey King was the word-of-mouth Chinese equivalent of Hanuman, you clods!

...Is it sad that I'm praising the comic for NOT killing off a new character for shock value? Like my standards have slipped so much I'm just glad they AREN'T doing terrible things to people?

Wait... Beastboy can alter his morphs? Because I am pretty sure there are no 8 foot muscle monkeys like that (it's note an ape because he has a tail). I know he can morph into animals and even alien animals, but that seems like a stretch...

Yeah, this is kinda bittersweet--I'm sure Lobdell's a decent enough writer, but I was actually starting to get into what Krul would do with Teen Titans. :(

Looking at the head, I don't think this is supposed to be a gorilla with a tail. I just typed "monkey" into google images, and Gar's form seems more like a hybridization of many monkey species on steroids.

Though if you look at the last panel of this section, he appears more like a panther than a monkey.
