My favorite scene in all that I've read of Daken, wherein he projects himself on a little girl.

I wish he'd adopted her, though I know it never would have worked out anyway.

Haha, I read that last sequence as "SHIT! I'm about to get a teenage girl sidekick just like... OF FUCK NO!"

THAT WOULD HAVE MADE IT MORE AWESOME.

I do solemnly wish she'll pull a Lady Bullseye and be inspired to become powerful and independent or something like that.

Or that Daken gets a kid sidekick, because he has an obvious soft spots for kids who aren't brats or spoiled.

While he does, it would inevitably raise all sorts of "I'M BECOMING MY DAD!" flags. I don't think he'd react well to that.
