From Catwoman #89, Harley has an idea for a TV show. Not surprisingly, it's based on a true story.

Good to know Harley's sexual fantasies are not just limited to men with clown faces and women with plant fetishes. She has room in that playfully wicked heart of hers for felines as well!

But hot lesbian sex between women in spandex isn't enough for the TV producers, so they demand an origin story. They demand to know the real Selina Kyle!

Breaking the fourth wall there, aren't you Harley?

And as a bonus feature to our proposed plot, Harley was already thinking of a Gotham City Sirens series, long before the idea got pitched to the men in DC's business office, but not before the launch of the Gotham Girls webtoon series.

I know, right?!

Makes me wonder if a different artist could have made Gotham City Sirens tolerable. . .

I doubt it. The book never had a reason to exist, really, and after Dini left the book, that was made utterly, utterly obvious.

That would be 'Timm' art. Dini's the writer out of the famous Dini/Timm pairing who are best known for BTAS.

That said, I'm not even entirely sure this is Timm's art. It could be, as in the case of the old BTAS tie-in comic, that it's someone really good at working in his style.

Then I've had it mixed up all this time, I thought Dini was doing the art and Timm the writing.... Probably because I saw a comic where Dini was listed as a creator and not Timm, and yet the art was the same.

Oh, Harley. You and Selina never went to the same camp, yours was Arkham and hers was Blackgate... And Selina doesn't use assault rifles... And if you ever tried to pat her on the head...

The Gotham Girls are my favorite dysfunctional BFF trio. In my fanon, they'll always be living at the GCSCD.

Actually, I think CATWOMAN #80-85 had Catwoman and Harley in the same "camp." One panel looks like the cover to CATWOMAN #84.

Yeah...everyone in Gotham seems to end up in Arkham at some point, even people like Catwoman and Penguin, who, while themed, aren't, technically speaking, insane.

The facility in CATWOMAN #80-82 wasn't Arkham. It was a new private facility for first-time female criminals called the Cinque Center. (Selina had never been arrested before in this post-Crisis pre-Superboy Prime Punching Time story.)
