Nah, I'd say the word isn't "stupid" but "silly." Morrison's said a big influence on INCORPORATED is the BRAVE AND THE BOLD cartoon, and Batman trolling is exactly the sort of bonkers wackiness that fans of that show love. One of the reasons I'm a fan of his work is that he embraces the sillier aspects of superheroes rather than ignore them or act embarrassed at them. His DC Universe is one where stuff like the Killing Joke took place, but it's *also* the world of raygun raiders and extreme circuses of crime, the world where the Zoo Crew play a role in saving the universe (as in FINAL CRISIS).

Personally, I thought it was a great scene.
