He may want to consider trying some new stuff instead of repeating his Volume One Greatest Hits, though.

i love how terrified Loki is and how he is basically "Dude come on! God of Mischief! you can do this!"

question though: why is he trying to steal a lock of her hair?

I believe he's trying to cut off all her hair, which is one of Loki's most famous pranks in mythology.

Aye. I seem to recall that it was Loki who was responsible for Sif having black hair instead of golden because I have some scans (from the Lee/Kirby era) where Thor is saving a blonde Sif from the clutches of Hela (I think such scene was altered on a modern revision of the same story because Sif had black hair in the moder story).

Which is kind of weird, since the entire point of the original myth was that he had to go to a goldsmith to get her new hair. Makes less sense if it's black :p

There's a canon explanation for that, too, though I don't remember off-hand what it is.

The Dwarves (or in some versions the trolls) who made the golden hair made it out of cheap material because they knew Loki was not going to pay them. And they were right Loki did not pay them and ran off with it.

When Loki presented the hair to Sif it was golden but after awhile it turned black, Sif was initially really pissed about it but Thor was just enamored with her new raven hair and at the end they both loved it.
