Four pages from The Mighty Thor #3 (I swear, Coipel's constant double-page layouts are done deliberately to mess with me). The confrontation between Asgard and the Silver Surfer continues, but what we're really interested in, to quote Troy McClure, is hardcore nudity.

Fortunately for Kid Loki, Thor arrives, allowing him to make his escape.

He may want to consider trying some new stuff instead of repeating his Volume One Greatest Hits, though.

Aye. I seem to recall that it was Loki who was responsible for Sif having black hair instead of golden because I have some scans (from the Lee/Kirby era) where Thor is saving a blonde Sif from the clutches of Hela (I think such scene was altered on a modern revision of the same story because Sif had black hair in the moder story).

The Dwarves (or in some versions the trolls) who made the golden hair made it out of cheap material because they knew Loki was not going to pay them. And they were right Loki did not pay them and ran off with it.

When Loki presented the hair to Sif it was golden but after awhile it turned black, Sif was initially really pissed about it but Thor was just enamored with her new raven hair and at the end they both loved it.
