I actually watched the show first, thinking I wouldn't have time for another 1000+ pages fantasy epic. What a craven fool I've been! The season finale ended (with time difference) at 6:00 AM and at 6:02 AM I've already started CoK. This has not been a particularily prodcutive or restful week so far.
The show is amazing and I can'T wait to see how they'll design all the new locations next season, books and show are slightly different beasts though. For instance, I quite like how they've struggled to make TV Cersei a more sympathetic character, the constant sexposition though makes it feel like everyone was Theon Grejoy.

I've ordered Book Three as soon as I had less than 200 pages to go and started it last night. Three blasts of the horn means it's about to get good, and I won't get any sleep soon.
