I should add that that IS Victoria Hand in the background and she is her usual charming self (One is almost nostalgic for Gyrich)

Personally, if for some reason I lost my ass and had to choose one of their's to be grafted onto me, I'd go for Victoria's.

But if I had to choose one just to look at touch, and fondle I'd go for Doug's.

Didn't mean it to be especially catty, it's a Doug characteristic that he doesn't (and I'm regretting the choice of words here before I even start) thurst himself forward, but gets much better results than those who do.

Victoria is wearing a perfectly decent outfit which, shall we say, seems to have at least a partial intention of highlighing her ass as an asset. (and I should make it clear that I don't think there's anything wrong with that whatsoever, more power to her for that (and her fanbase here clearly agrees) but to me it seems to lack a little... subtlety.

Doug on the other hand is casually wearing something akin to a boilersuit (a spandex boilersuit perhaps, but more utilitarian than anything else), not apparently designed to highlight anything, and yet what we can see is instantly appealling.

As I've noted elsewhere it's like comparing Doug and Roberto DaCosta (Sunspot). Berto was always the dashing, charming, wannabe chick magnet, convinced he was god's gift to the female gender (and as a result slightly smarmy). However compare his actual success rate with the ladies to the far more laid back, sometimes even shy, Doug and it's slightly embarassing for Berto. Doug stands out by NOT standing out but just being himself, if that makes coherent sense (it did at the startof the paragraph in my head at any rate).

I don't think Victoria's skirt is unsubtle, or any more highlighting of her assets than Doug's suit - they both look equally tight to me, and Doug's hips and ass are also accentuated by the V shape and the yellow accents (the fact that the 'camera' appears to be staring directly at it also helps).

If Victoria's ass looks more obvious, it's because there's more of it there. Because she is a lady (I say this as someone who has a particular difficulty with perfectly ordinary, modest-looking skirts suddenly morphing into "attention-seeking" gear the moment I get in them).

I think it's perhaps the fact she's wearing a short skirt with the sort of high heels that make my eyes water just to look at (but I am just a bloke in such matters; women opting to wear high heels baffles me completely, they always look so uncomfortable), it draws the eyes.

Also, you have to consider the gender factor. They artists probably just stuck Victoria in a short tight skirt and drew her bootylicious because that's how comic artists tend to draw women's clothes and bodies. Comic art rarely reflects anything about a female character's personality, but everything about the artist's sense of sexual aesthetics

And if Doug isn't so obviously sexualised, that probably isn't supposed to emphasise the innate charm of his boyish modesty - it's probably simply because he's male.
