A comic book related glass making company called "Toon Tumblers" released on their Facebook page what appears to be Jim Lee's promotional spread for the new Justice League, part of which will be used on drinking glasses given out at this years San Diego Comic Con. As a result, we now have the complete line-up of the Justice League in the wake of the relaunch:

In the center, going from left to right, are the seven members we already know:
  • Aquaman
  • Green Lantern (Hal Jordan)
  • Wonder Woman
  • Superman
  • Batman (Bruce Wayne)
  • The Flash (Barry Allen)
  • Cyborg

On the left side of the image, going from top to bottom, we have four additional members:
  • Deadman
  • The Atom (Ray Palmer)
  • Element Woman (from Flashpoint: Secret Seven)
  • Firestorm (Ronnie Raymond and Jason Rusch)

And on the right side, going from top to bottom, we have four more:
  • Green Arrow
  • Hawkman (Carter Hall)
  • A woman who could be either Zealot, Power Girl, or Miranda Shrieve (from Flashpoint: Frankenstein and the Creatures of the Unknown)
  • Mera

Call me crazy, but for some reason the redesigned costumes look a whole lot better when Jim Lee draws them.  Anyway, what do folks think?

Hm... here's to hoping that the currently unidentified woman on the right is Power Girl or Black Canary.

As a Power Girl fan, I'm hoping that it's not Power Girl.

I don't want my favourite character to only appear as a background character, getting two or three lines of dialogue an issue and have her character development reduced to "I'll do the punching."

You definitely have a point. My worry, though, is that I don't believe she has a separate book, unless I missed something on the list. At least if she's in Justice League, it means she exists in this new 'verse, and can get a book later. Hopefully. I'd rather have characters I love have a small role for a while that can be expanded in the future than to have them removed from continuity all together, possibly not to be re-introduced. At least, that's assuming there is a decent writer on board. Then again, I kind of wanted to cry when I saw that the new Superboy cover makes it appear that Kon is a robot of some sort instead of Superman and Luthor's human-alien-hybrid test-tube-baby love/hate-child. Hahahahaha..... Oh, God, I need to go to sleep now, before I become even more incomprehensible (why is it that I can't make sense at this time of night, but I can still spell, if not type it right the first time?!). But I think I understand where you're coming from on this.

I'm hoping it's not Power Girl either, but for slightly different reasons--if it is, then her costume has been changed and...look, I get people don't like that her costume can be made to be oversexed very easily, but the problem is that all the times they've tried to change it have been ass-terrible.

I remember seeing a version with a scoop neck that showed only a little cleavage and didn't look like she was going to fall out of it instead of a boob window (which admittedly, can sort of be somewhat pulled off by some artists, just not most), and whose bottom half didn't magically turn into a thong or tell us about her shaving or waxing habits, if you get my drift (this is the reason I am generally happy when female heroes get pants, because I don't object to exposed legs in general, it's when the lack of material starts migrating further up that I get angry - if you're gonna do that to the female superheroes, DC, at least give us Dick Grayson in a thong version of his Nightwing uniform too, dammit!). Otherwise, pretty much the one she's had lately. That was nice, I want to see that one again. But I have seen some very bad alternate costumes for Peej. And yes, I agree that some of them were worse than the oversexed versions even of her more common uniform.

Personally, I would say a thong is more dignified than costumes like THIS:

Yes, I'd agree that is less dignified than a thong. It's not even the concept of her usual uniform that grates on me, it's the way the bottom sometimes can get smaller and smaller while the window gets bigger and bigger that does. ...Why does the random shoulder armor make me think of Saiyans? Anyways, there are too many conflicting elements in that outfit to look even remotely worth keeping, and it's an excellent example of when a thong is actually the lesser of two evils. Now, if the entire torso section was blue without the white diamond and the hole in the middle of it was gone, while also removing the funny flap thing at the neck that is presumably leftover cape material, the arm stripes were changed to red, the cape was switched to red with a blue border, the headband was removed or tones down, the industrial-strength gel was removed from her hair, the shoulder armor was either removed all together (or less likely to work: integrated with another piece or two of complimentary armor)... Yeah, I think I could salvage some of the design elements into something halfway decent, but it'd be the drawing equivalent of repairing a piece of electronics for nearly the cost of buying a new replacement one. Jeez, she's had some terrible costumes throughout the years, hasn't she? I think this is why people don't complain about the boob window more than they already do; the alternative would probably be even worse.
