I really do like the story of Sailor Moon (I love magical girl stories, and there is a reason why it's the best) But the art is pretty standard shoujo-manga stuff, and it takes me right out of the story.
But yeah, the anime was pretty bad. I absolutely love the live-action version, though!
I also am abandoning DC comics. I'm sick of their false diversity, regressive story-telling, and distinct lack of respect for their fans. However, I am trying really hard to reconcile it with my want of Batwoman (who is one of my favorite characters and I have been so long for her comic) and The Unwritten (which is under Vertigo, part of DC). I don't know whether or not I should pick them up, because I DO want to send a message. :(
