I like that they finally acknowledge the deeper relationship that's been there with Harley/Ivy all these years. I just wish it was done in a better story.

The only weirder thing is to think how this'll be undone in the future. Joker is more than likely to leave her again or try to kill her and have her leave again. And then Ivy will become friends with her again? I guess that'll end up having Ivy as the one who needs Harley more than vice versa.

As I often point out..Clown at Midnight is one of my absolute favorite Joker stories. One of the things I liked about it is that Harley finally seemed to have smartened up and wants to get away from Joker..so..what was the point in Gotham City Sirens? Just..what was the point if one of the end results was Harley going back to a violent man, who doesn't love her, and hell abuses her? Is this being done because of her status in the new DCU? Even so.. just..no.

I' m sorry there is no way Harley could beat Ivy...I mean sure psychological tactics here but she should have owned them...wow....

But these DOES look like interesting set-up for BOP. I really dont think with the reboot that anything remotely Bat-related is getting changed too much and if so are in story. Perhaps this is reasoning enough for Ivy to go total legit for BOP?

I've always preferred Ivy being more shades of gray along with Selina and Harley as well. Anti-villains and anti-heroes. I don't really like seeing them "Muhahaha" evil.

Actually same goes for The Riddler, I find him useless as a villain. Bring back the inept gumshoe!

I hated in the world's finest issue they had with BatSteph and Supergirl Catwoman was totally a villain and Steph tied her up! Selina was the one that took her to the hospital after Blackmask tortured her didn't she? Thus also fueling her reasons to kill him right? Made no sense.

I haven't read the other issues up to this, it looks like Harley had a meltdown and went on a killing spree with The Joker and Ivy is trying to snap her out of it right?

I really wish Dini didn't abandon this, I would have liked to see where he would have taken it.

Gotham City Sirens is the only female-centric book at DC I don't have interest in, and this snippet reinforces that.

Plot and character issues aside, what the hell is up with the art here? The bottom of that first page - I don't think I've ever seen Harley look like a bodybuilding, stout midget before.

I like how the last issue of the series utterly destroyed the interpersonal relationship of the characters, making everything even more pointless. Good thing this isn't serial fiction, huh?!

Three or four issues ago, this seemed like a story with some potential. Then we got the Joker disguised as a clown scratching babies with rusty nails on the off-chance that they get tetanus and...jeez, this is sad.

On the one hand, I do like manipulative psychiatrist Harley. But on the other hand, it's for a story like this, and that simply won't do.

You want to play it like that DC, fine. But just like I said about Marvel, if you try to handwave this shit away later and have these characters NOT get punished? Make them truly evil. Thats fine.

But they better get their comuppance later.

Of course when World World Hulk DIDN'T end with Hulk basically DESTROYING everyone who wronged him I gave up on Marvel.
