So a young boy named Dieter finds a stray puppy and wants to keep it. His friend Johann told him they'd get in trouble, but when the dog catcher came around to look for the puppy, Johann points him away, at the expense of getting hit in the head. Aw.

Oddly enough it's the fridge that gets me. They existed at the time, and were even common in the US, but much less so in Europe. (and they cost about as much as a car)

That's also a rather modern looking design.

Yeah, it should be much more rounded edges and about a half a foot shorter. With maybe an art deco crest on top.

They were also built to last for decades (as were most appliances of the time). Hence the hefty price.
