Miss Marvel is a great add, I hope to see more powerful classic Marvel girls making it into the show, right now besides Wasp there's a serious lack of female characters in the show. (and no, the Black Widow and Maria Hill cameos almost don't count...we've seen them on the overall episodes so little times...)

We tried watching the Kang episode, which I was excited about because I bloody love Kang the Conquerer, but the show was alternately boring and off-putting. We then tried to watch the first episode and couldn't get through it for the same reasons. The show actually gets good? Are there any recommended episodes? Does it develop organically like Spectacular Spider-Man which went from "okay" to "fucking best Marvel animated show ever yet nobody knows it exists for some bizarre reason"?

Like basically the show lifts stuff like 42 - hey, Reed/Tony/Hank get together and build an extradimensional prison to keep baddies from escaping! - and removes the part where it's an extrajudicial gulag meant for locking up other heroes.

There was other stuff but that in particular stood out to me as something that was pretty good once you remove the awful context it was originally presented in.

I like this new season and my only complaint is that we are losing the classic flavor of Captain America in order to have the look of the Ultimate (Wingless) Captain America (Good thing that version is * SPOILERS * a Skrull * SPOILERS *).

Beyond such fact, I am very excited to finally see the Red Skull considering the amount of respect that all the villains of Captain America have received on this show so far. I am also looking forward to a possible Kree-Skrull War. The main reason I want to see this new season is simply...DOCTOR DOOM!!!

The guy who dubbed him on that Fantastic Four cartoon from 2005-2006 did a good job even though I really didn't enjoy that version of the Fantastic Four.

Mine main choice for an awesome voice actor for DOOM! would have to be Peter Beckman. He did a marvelous job dubbing Golbez at Dissidia as well as giving the impression of him been beyond good and evil.

My guess is that if we see them at all, it'll be the way it was in the Ultimateverse, where they're Magneto's kids and tied to the X-Men. Which is too bad, as they were part of the foundation for the Avengers, IMO.

Well, they first appeared on X-Men # 4 but I understand your concern, Kenn-El. Most of us met the characters when they were part of the Avengers. Lately I have been worried if Pietro would find redemption for himself after so many betrayals and I think he could find by working again with the Avengers.

True. But the real difference was that, in the regular Marvelverse, they had no idea that Magneto was their father, whereas in the Ultimateverse they were Magneto's kids, and therefore tied to the X-men/Magneto more tightly than they were in the Marvelverse.

One of the creators said something about how when they were planning Season 2 it would be the Cosmic season, and that if he was still working on the show for season 3 it would hypothetically be the Magic season. It would be the best place to bring in Wanda.

Of course a lot of the creators have moved on to other projects at this point. And a lot of their plans can change in the next year.

A lot of people assume that the rights to use Wanda and Pietro are tied up because of the X-men cartoons. But they used Wolverine in one of the episodes, so I don't know how true that is.
