The one I saw on the first episode on Netflix Instant sounded like a pop song out something out the early 00's. As for most metal, I dunno, the 90's X-Men one rocked substantially harder.

YES. X-Men's intro was totally better--I think Nostalgia Critic said it best when he said that just hearing that song makes you want to leap out of your chair and kick some ass. :D

Oh, those were totally great. Too bad they didn't influence any of the Marvel superhero shows, which is what I'm talking about here. Have you tried watching the opening themes for the Iron Man or Fantastic Four shows lately?
