Yesterday's night I posted some weird stuff and today I have decided to redeem myself by posting more cool stuff done by Gene Colan. It was thanks to Proteus_Lives and Auggie18 that I have decided to post the story where our beloved Sentinel of Liberty goes to College. Here is looking at you, amigos! Enjoy.
First of all, we have this neat cover where Captain America is fighting some Hippie Pirate. Yep, the 70s were quite interesting, that's for sure.

Our story begins with Captain America paying a visit to Nick Fury in order to see Sharon Carter. Nick Fury tells him she isn't there and Cap decides to chill a little bit on a supposedly harmless seat. Cap would soon realize that such seat has some particular effects on people.

The Slumber Seat makes Cap have an Acid Trip where Sharon Carter is been attacked as well as several ads of employment begin to fall all over. Cap wakes up and has an epiphany.

Cap begins to see that there are some problems at Campus and decides to kick some ass. Problem is that the students are the ones acting on a violent manner. Cap befriends a teacher and decides to investigate.

Cap and the rest of the teachers confront Mart Baker on a peaceful way to stop a riot he was starting and they manage to calm him down. One of Baker's allies (Grizzly the Hippie Pirate) decides to encourage Baker to continue with the riot.

It's soon revealed that Grizzly the Hippie Pirate is working with MODOK and A.I.M. so they could use the riots to conquer the world (Yeah, I don't really see how that would help to conquer the world but that's how it happened). Baker becomes a good guy again and he helps Cap defeat Grizzly and his men who have taken a hostage. The villains try to escape but Cap will not let them get away even he has to use to a gun (Now that I think about it, Captain America doesn't have a rule that forbids the use of guns).

The day has been saved and everything goes back to normal (more or less).

That's all, Folks!

The '70s certainly were interesting!

Damn A.I.M. hippie-pirates!
Thanks for posting!
You're welcome!

Several Movies for a Sentinel of Liberty
Date: 2011-07-05 10:41 pm (UTC)I will do the same. Heck, I had the wild idea of cosplaying like the Red Skull and asking a friend to go dressed as Captain America. That would be pretty cool but I don't know if we will be allowed to enter the Movie Theater dressed like Cap and the Red Skull.

I think I have seen some of those films. They seemed as if they were trying to capture the charm of the Incredible Hulk TV Series. They were silly indeed but they were quite entertaining. Something for the Hardcore Captain America Fans. The first film of Captain America that I saw was the one with Matt Salinger and the Italian Red Skull. It was 1994 or 1995 and, even though it didn't followed most of the original story, it has a special place at my heart.
Re: Several Movies for a Sentinel of Liberty
Date: 2011-07-05 11:05 pm (UTC)Maybe you would. At my local theater we had a lot of dress-ups for Dark Knight, the Harry Potter movies and others. I used to work there and we didn't mind costumes unless they got in the way of another person's seat.

Oh, I love that one. Cap playing sick, the president fighting along side him. So much fun.

Date: 2011-07-05 10:43 pm (UTC)Chain Reaction
Date: 2011-07-05 10:49 pm (UTC)If so, then that behavior would make an obsessive neighbor start thinking that they were demons that looked similar to two members of the Fantastic Four, thus causing her to hire a sorceress, thus accidentally summoning Mephisto on Earth, thus causing Franklin Richards to "kill" Mephisto.
Comics, Everybody!

Date: 2011-07-05 11:25 pm (UTC)I am curious, How did the "Franklin Family" returned to be the Richards Family?
