I was going to mention this scene in the previous post, but it was so skin peelingly stupid I couldn't put it into words.

This is basically on the same level as Sally Floyd talking down to Captain America for not liking youtube; acting like a classic and beloved hero doesn't fit in the real world because they believe in things like "Truth" and "Honor." And they even artificially aged him in order to try and hammer the idea that Superman is old and stupid and has no place in the modern world.

Because if you want to use explosives that can damage a Kryptonian, they don't need to be too powerful.

Besides, the blast is clearly happening away from the actual point of explosion. She's taken all of the damage to her eyes and ears, while her major organs remain inside her.
