I was thinking to troll everyone and post one scan, but nah. I'm just picking the two that are mostly Cass related and the best highlights of the issue.
Five pages and that's all she wrote for the Hooded Lady. I won't spoil the next bit of events. Then this bit of Cass randomness I love:
Alas they are plot threads that'll probably never be finished. Same goes for this bit:
I'd say this is EVIL Cass done right it seems. A ten year old brought up into violence and has no remorse of killing. No wonder Cass has an interest in this assassin. But alas we probably won't get finality with this plot.

Hey, if Babs retires as Oracle, she's going to leave some mighty big shoes to fill, and even if she stays Oracle there's only so much one person can do. (In my mind, of course, Kon's there with him, just off-panel. Just because. Feel free to insert whoever you ship Tim with, if anyone, instead, of course.) The one on the left... is reminding me of Buffy. Timmy, superhero or not, the fact that you have an epitaph picked out is sad. Batman Beyond Tim is... intriguing.

Date: 2011-07-14 02:41 pm (UTC)But, depending on the day, Cass is the MOST POWERFUL FIGHTER ON THE ENTIRE PLANET. You can't just create a BRAND NEW CHARACTER that nobody has ever heard of, and then make him/her SO SUPER STRONG that he can defeat Cass with EASE. To me, that just feels like cheating.
If such a character EXISTED he/she would NOT be:
Not heard of up until this point (Being powerful enough to defeat Cass Cain would make you pretty famous)
10-fucking-years old. If Damian is an amazing assassin but can be defeated by Tim Drake, who the hell is this kid supposed to be?
