I've already posted the covers to this issue as Wade puts on the MC Hammer pants and shakes it, but one page in the preview here by ComicBookResources just HAD to be posted, as Wade fights hard to resist temptation.



Wade is playing the "hero" angle, creating his own Worthy with a "mystic hammer" he created himself so that he could defeat the Z-level villain and redeem his reputation. They go sneaking into people's houses and scaring them when they wake up.




Oh Wade, how could you? Wait til Nate hears about this.

Love the giant poster of "Liefeld" Cable complete with giant barrel chest, 13 abs and no hands or feet.

Liefeld makes everything better. Though I do love the completely adorable tiny cable figurines more, they are so chubby and adorable <3

I do as well, however Cable's hand is clearly holding that gun! I CALL SHENANIGANS! Liefeld cannot draw people holding things properly!

I do remember him being at the monument to Nate in 'Cable and Deadpool'. I'm just reacting to the whole 'Cable Is Dead And Wade Feels Sad About That!' debacle happening all over again.

yeah, I remember the monument! I dunno if there was any funeral then, though.

There was a funeral in Second Coming though, and Wade was there.

And it was revisited again in Cable & Deadpool #26 (the one that came after the Cable series that was awful).

Nate makes Wade feel sad often. He's a bad boyfriend, getting killed so much.

He does. In fact, he might have been hit the hardest. He went on a drinking binge and everything.
My explanation is that seeing so much Nate hurts Wade too much, so he uses Walrus to destroy the painful memories.

Would it surprise you to learn that I tended to prefer Ursula.. from a character standpoint obviously (and a great song)! :)

They brought Pat Carrol back for the sequel but never gave her a song, but they DID give her a rather fun song in the TV series

Yes, it would surprise me; I thought you were the one who liked the nicey-nice wholesome characters and *I* was the one preferred the selfish but charismatic villains!

Every time I hear "Poor Unfortunate Souls", I am distracted by the fact that if you had Pat Carroll's voice, why would you ever want to use Ariel's instead? Bad trade! Bad trade!
