Time travel, the Maximals and Predacons are from our future (They're the successors to the Autobots and Decepticons), so Shakespeare is known to them. But we find out at the end of Season 1 that the alien world they are stuck on is prehistoric Earth, and they were zapped through time as well as space when their transwarp spacecraft exploded...

	See, I did know that. It just seems so.. so MASSIVELY UNLIKELY AND CONTRIVED.
