~Joe slaps his hands together~

"Okay gang! What are we gonna do for issue 700!?"

~He stands in the writing war room. Writers sit around the table before him. Most have pads and pens. One man weakly raises a hand~

"Well....maybe we could get Peter back with Mary-"

~he's cut off n mid sentence as a trap door opens beneath his seat, sending him hurtling, screaming, into a black maw of darkness~

"Oh, so that's what those guys were installing last week."

"It says a whole lot that the fact that a guy was just sent into a fucking pit didn't just send me running to monster.com"

"Okay, any ideas that won't result in trap doors being opened?"

"Uh...Clone saga?"

"GOOD IDEA!"

"You know, sir, you do realize we all know that's not a real guy."

"What on earth are you talking about? ~he eys his trap door lever slightly~"

"Well I mean, it's pretty obviously a scarecrow. With....Danny Bonadouche's face plastered on it...and a tape recorded plainly attached to it and...~the man presses a button~."

"CLONE SAGA. NO MARY JANE. MORE CARLIE COOPER. CLONE SAGA. THE LIZARD. BUY MY BOOK, BUY MY BOOK."
