I like how they seem to be getting around the power differential... Odin and his fellow gods got squashed fighting the Celestials way back when, but they were incompehensible alien types, while Galactus for all his cosmic power used to be a mortal man (or something very like one, in any event). There's more common ground for Odin to exploit in a purely psychic battle.
