I was really conflicted about posting this, not because it was not good, but because i am dangerously close to exceeding the limit... Do i want to post What happened to Diana... or do I want to post the moment where Diana became Diana again... So i decided to post on WHAT exactly happened to Diana and HOW she ended up being possessed by the Morrigan... if some one wants to post the other three pages... or if they want me to post them in a separate post... let me know...

If you want me to post How Wonder Woman Rose.... let me know because honestly as much as this explains how she got taken over... How she over comes is sooo much better.... i am really torn here...

Ah, so basically this is what happened to start Odyssey? The three Morrigan try and start a war, realDiana punks them and reduces them to two, but then Nemesis steps in and takes her form, and Di's "backup life" comes into play?

heh, yeah pretty much... the next page states that the Morrigan felt that a strand of Diana is missing....

i REALLY want to post the other Pages because they are REALLY COOL character moments.... but i am pretty sure i am close to the limit... unless the Mods think it's okay... *Puppy eyes*

For some reason, Diana's dialogue here feels weird to me. Maybe... Just not very Diana-ish? And I hadn't realize she was friends with Sherlock Holmes. :|

I don't know what to think about this stuff anymore. After this, I would have been looking forward to a Wondy reboot a teensy bit (not really a reboot I guess, but just something to get her back on track), but considering the reboot... Well. I don't know yet.

Why am I so torn about everything? ;u;

Ahh, so she got a chance to speak with herself this issue?

And yeah, that art is mighty interesting. ^u^
I think I like the coloring (way more?) than I do the actual art, but the art itself isn't that bad either.

Despite Sherlock Holmes and Batman having met numerous times in various continuities, he does not in fact exist in the DCU, making Batman History's Greatest Detective.

There was another dude over in Starman, an Englishman from Victorian days who moved to Opal City, who played the flute and solved paranormal mysteries with his American Watson, he was pretty cool. He ended up getting displaced in time and became friends with a modern day detective he inspired... Ralph Dibny.

Sue said the fact that the detective introducing himself as having heard of Ralph and having been impress with his work was one fo the happiest moments in Ralph's entire life.

Hopefully he'll reappear in the Shade's mini series, as they're both Brits from the 1800s who live in Opal, but we'll have to see.

Do we ever see what's at the end of them, or are they just perpetually off-panel? Which, honestly, would be kind of cool.

Hey! Let's explain how we got here RIGHT AT THE END.

Without explaining how the main character got here!

Because why doesn't a sword through her spine hurt her? And where does faux-Diana come from? And what the hell is going on?

ummm how is it not explained... i did leave out two pages for limit reasons but it pretty much explains it there... The morrigan let leak a plan to attack Paradise Island. Diana interecepted, felled one of the Triumverate, but turns out it was all a trick to get diana there. The sword didn't kill Diana because her sword essentially infected her (it does look like it hurts though) clotho explained in a previous issue that in her final battle they managed to save a strand of her life line (and turned it into her new lasso).

Then Nemisis explains (in one of the missing pages) that she can feel a part of Diana is missing (this would be the strand Clotho saved) She then goes about destroying paradise Island because she does not want Diana to have any support and have to be forced to live in Man's world, thinking that in living in the "squalor" of this place would sour her towards them, leaving her weak enough for Nemesis to eventually take her over.

so it IS explained. too see clotho's explaination look for one of my previous posts... I think its explained pretty well

A strand of her life, a strand of her life's cord doesn't explain how DIFFERENT Diana is, or how different her life was. It not like she hijacked someone else's lifeline, it's still Diana's lifeline.

And a sword through the spine, whether it "infects" her with Nemesis or whoever . . . would still be a fatal (if not lethal) wound. But nope, the body's walking around, and all good.

No, this is still ridiculous.

its a magical sword from a goddess... i think its believe able. Hell, Ravagers swords at one time would hurt and not kill.

also the swords allowed Nemesis to infect Diana with HER essence. being infected with a goddess most often times causes rapid healing.

A strand of her life, a strand of her life's cord doesn't explain how DIFFERENT Diana is, or how different her life was. It not like she hijacked someone else's lifeline, it's still Diana's lifeline.

Nemesis explains this towards the end. It was Diana's life force and innocence, it did not contain her life experiences as a whole but bits and pieces that the goddess was able to weave togeteher. Nemisis and the morrigan tried to destroy diana's life, diana's support system that is why they destroyed paradise island, that is why they forced DIana into the Mortal world, so that she will feel contempt for it, like Nemesis does. That plan didn't work, Diana started to view the people of the mortal world as her own brothers and sisters.

honestly i don't find any of this hard to believe or accept.
