I was very much on the fence with this title. When it started, I had high hopes...but as it's developed, I lost the thread. Max just doesn't seem to really DO that much...and for all the implication that society was about to break down after the Plutonian started going all mass-murdery...well, it felt like Waid wasn't as interested in telling that story and society seems to be holding together kind of. Waid refers to things like gangs running amok and the infrastructure collapsing...but we don't really see it that much. Not like in Irredeemable.
