I DO like the sharpness of this art style (and how it begins in a rural din) I don't know, maybe I read too much Stephen King.
But whatever, sorry guys, but I find this a little expectant of an idea. Sounded like a cheap fanboy fanfic plot to start with. Though I would like to see if things actually got interesting.

I am mystified by the absence of Jaz, who would be all too happy to take on the arduous task of alleviating Jen's distress. Jen shouldn't even have to leave her trailer, here.

Well, to be fair, we see very little of the inside of the trailer. If Jen's subconscious/id is acting on its own, it probably already wore Jaz out and left her lying exhausted on the floor -- which is off-panel -- before Jen even woke up.

That would explain the "dream" line quite nicely.

Huh. Given what a machine we know Jaz to be in bed (assuming her own account of her history can be trusted), Shulkie must be in some pretty dire need to have wiped her out and still be after more.

This says nothing good about the Youngest Jameson. But then, I suppose that's not really news to anyone but Jen, and even then she needed the nudge from Starfox.

He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named had her ditch her entire life when he took over the title, including both jobs (though admittedly she wasn't an Avenger at the time, so heroing was an unpaid hobby). She became a bounty hunter instead. They apparently don't get paid as well as lawyers and anyway find it convenient to live out of mobile residences like trailers due to the regular travel after bail-jumpers.

(though actually you'd think a more dangerous and specialized job like "superhuman bounty hunter" would pay better than average; if nothing else, the Wrecking Crew's bail is probably set pretty high by default).

I'm joking. If you read the actual previews, it's all of the people who are connected to the Hulk feeling Skarr's presence as he arrives. Jen and the others are compelled to meet Skarr as he arrives.
