In case you're wondering, McCarthy didn't do the art this issue. I guess this has to do with two issues coming out this month and Dustin Nguyen filled in this issue. But Ryan Parrott also filled in on writing. Funny how even this DC mini is being effected as well and it shouldn't.

I'm not bothered by the artist being different, Dustin Nguyen is a favourite of mine.
I'm looking fprward to picking this issue up once I go back to university and visit my LCS there.

Well, Higgins is writing Nightwing, so I guess they wanted to make sure that he had a few issues scripted and in the bag before the relaunch.

This is a great moment between Cass and Dick by the way, great interaction between the two, and it also fits with a lot of the themes that Snyder's exploring over on Detective about how Gotham chews up anyone who dares try to protect it.

1. Does anyone else think that "The Architect" is going to turn out to not actually be Nicolas? The teaser for the next issue make it seem that way.

2. I'm kind of surprised and disappointed at Alan Wayne being a double crossing/ elitist ass. In what little I've heard and seen about him before, I thought he was supposed to be a decent guy; like he met his wife while saving her from an assault or something.

Actually I was always under the impression that the Wayne family were perpetually good folks who generally tried to usher Gotham into the right direction throughout it's history, but with Thomas Wayne/Simon Hurt and now this, I see the Wayne family tree has created it's share of bad apples as well.

I agree with Cass, except for one minor thing: ARKHAM ASYLUM IS BUILT ON A LEYLINE! Which certainly isn't doing anyone any good. Sadly I can't really think of a better way to clearly communicate what Cass is saying, using too many less words, and I'm pretty good with words, while she isn't. So I will let this slide....for now.
