It just struck me that Deadpool's expression in that final panel is one of absolute terror and that that makes perfect sense. Deadpool NEEDS to be crazy to function. If he wasn't all the terrible things that have happened to me wouldn't slide off like they do. That isn't to say he doesn't feel, quite the contrary, it's just that he would be a quivering wreck otherwise.
If this doctor heals him, she will break him
