In any rate, I don't have any problem with Husk and Angel being a couple nor with his healing blood IN THEORY. Just with the way both were handled/introduced.

IDK they're both at best pretty lame ideas.

Like, healing blood? That's kind of like, one part wolverine-ripoff, one part kinda gross.

Hooking up with Paige? Like, the best argument for that pairup is "fuck it, it's the X-men".

The execution was so, so much worse but these are pretty unlikely to be classic stories under best-case circumstances.

I mean the Phoenix Saga was "a wealthy older man with a fetish for light bondage hypnotizes a young girl and takes advantage of her" so who knows MAYBE those could have been gold. But like I wouldn't have bet money on it, you know?
