Remember FF#245? Well shortly after COIE came out I wrote a story proposal to reboot the MU a la Crisis based on the idea of Franklin growing up. It started with a series of cosmic disasters and ended with Reed realizing that Franklin has basically put the whole universe on hold because he couldn't deal with growing up. In the end the FF as a family show Franklin there's nothing to be afraid of and in a flash the whole universe aged 15 years but just when it seemed he had come to grip with reality and how to use his powers Annihilus attacks and Ben and Sue are killed.

Franklin goes bad destroys Annihilus and the Negative zone and in a fit of grief basically resets the entire universe to the point where the FF are preparing for their trip into space.

It was my first serious attempt at writing, it wasn't great but it wasn't bad either.
